Ladies and Gentle-People. I wish to apologize.
Those of you who were expecting an update a while back but rely purely on RSS have been sorely wronged… As have all my readers.
As pointed out by my twitter, I have recently come down with Swine Flu (H1N1). Not only myself, but my wife and daughter as well.
The past weeks have been filled with pain, anguish, misery and vomiting… lots and lots of vomiting.
BUT!!! We have recovered, and as a result, you can expect an update soon… I promise you this…
I understand not many of you are left thanks to my long hiatus and history of spotty updates… but James will return…
Thank you for weathering the storm… I hope for clear skies and smooth sailing in the future.

I have followed online novellas long enough to know to weather a brief (or in some cases, not so brief) hiatus in order to follow a good story. You have a really good story, so I patiently awat the next installment.
Bummer you got sick, but I am glad you and your family are feeling better. No worries I check back from time to time.
