I was just idly sitting by, and wanted to say a little something to my small amount of readers. That one little thing is a simple thank you.
Without the comments and reviews I’ve gotten, I would more than likely have given up on this a good long while ago.
So again… Thank you.

Some of us prefer to remain silent rather than comment on what we read. For my own part, this is often to avoid setting off a flame war or to avoid sounding like a complete idiot. The majority of my web comic and web novel reading friends operate similarly. I would like to simply reassure you that though you may have few comments, you probably have many more readers. I think your writing is quite passable, and have enjoyed the updates you’ve posted. I hope to see more in the very near future.
I just wanted to hand you my compliments on this piece - so far the characterization is good, pacing is fast, and you’ve got my interest. As i write speculative fiction as well, i’m a bit of a plot-snob, but you have my thanks for writing this one. ^.^
